The Problem of the Overlooked Female Artist: An Argument for Enlivening a Stale Model of Discussion

Here are a couple of articles that highlight women artists and their place in the contemporary art world and the history of art. The first talks about how women artists are shaping the contemporary painting scene and the other talks about how women’s unequal position in art history is swept under the rug by institutions. The upcoming tasks on the MA asks us to contextualise our practice and I thought these articles would be useful.
